THE MAIN CHARACTERS OF STARLIGHT NEXUS
This is when we make something of ourselves.
Folcéa Valt-Falgo
Age: 18 / Race: Solflosian / Gender: Female / Machine: Survivor's Petal
Folcéa is a recent hire under Kalidorr Grehn. Her home planet of Nerisium is locked in a civil war, one that her parents wanted her to take part in. She had received extensive training in combat and piloting, as she comes from a line of revolutionaries where these skills proved useful against extraterrestrial foes in the past. However, Folcéa wanted nothing to do with this conflict. Against her parents’ wishes, she fled the planet and drifted from space station to space station, doing odd jobs to keep herself afloat. Her peppy and blunt personality at least endeared her to many that she met along the way, but sooner or later the funds would dry up. It’s here that she joins Kalidorr’s paramilitary group, being taught the ropes by him and Xander. Little did she know that this mission would send her on a journey beyond her wildest dreams.
Xander Wroth
Age: 44 / Race: Spelcian / Gender: Male
A paramilitary member for hire that primarily operates under his mentor Kalidorr Grehn. Their small organization, while modestly successful, has a good reputation of getting the job done cleanly and discreetly. The small scope of their group and operation help blend in more seamlessly than a large crime syndicate would. Xander himself is fairly reserved, possessing a dry and somewhat nerdy wit that stems from his primary duties as a hacker. Despite this, in a pinch, he is proficient with dual firearms that help him from relying on Kalidorr too often. Xander is fairly young for a Spelcian, but as he was born off-planet into a previous paramilitary group, he is experienced for his age. However, their most current job goes horribly wrong. Tasked with recovering a stolen strongbox that belonged to the Stellar Concord, Xander thought this mission would be routine. In the events that followed, the mission ended up being one that would change everything.
Kalidorr Grehn
Age: 137 / Race: Slagulate / Gender: Male
The leader of the Kalidorr Union, a small paramilitary group that does odd jobs for those that are willing to pay. Their services can get pricey for their small size, but their inconspicuous nature makes them very good at what they do. Kalidorr took Xander in when he was the Spelcian equivalent of a teenager, as he had only known this life from birth. Kalidorr proved to be a much more responsible guardian than Xander’s parents were, and he taught him how to defent himself with dual pistols. Weilding a plasma staff, Kalidorr prefers hands-on combat that takes advantage of his species’ more slippery and frog-like physiology. Despite always looking out for his people however, his newest job would prove to be the most fatal mistake he’s ever made.
Mr. R
Age: Unknown / Race: Human / Gender: Male / D.o.B: Unknown / Machine: Checkered Starlight
The announcer of the Milky Way Grand Prix, an interstellar racing competition that began after the discovery of a vast stash of Gravity Nexuses before the Grand Prix was established. He has been hosting this contest on behalf of Kel-Shabah and Clea Runé since its inception around 150 years ago. While he is a fan of watching and commentating on the races, he is also responsible for adding the interview portion of each tournament and the marketization of each racer participating. Mr. R believes that the people behind the wheel are just as important as the machines and races themselves and always tries to make sure the show remains as exciting and extravagant as ever. Every so often, however, he disappears; some say this is to let his co-host get some time in the limelight, while others say he secretly gets behind the wheel himself. When asked for a comment, Mr. R simply said: "I'm never gone; I'm always at the track, baby! I even changed my name to 'Race'!"
Heather Hyeon
Age: 172(?) / Gender: Android (Female-Presenting) / D.o.B: Unknown
An android woman who once saved Earth and, unknown at the time, the entire galaxy due to her killing of the Interstellar Combat Sentinels’ leader. Heather and her friends solved many crises that plagued the planet, in addition to establishing her own PI agency to continue this work however she likes. The freedom for people to live their lives in whatever manner they choose, contributing to society however they choose… this is what Heather fights for. However, her mindset is a bit unorthodox, and a little compensation might be needed to get her to go along with your plan.
At this point in time, Heather is one of the few remaining of those days on Earth. Most of her friends, after all, were not androids like she is, and many were lost in that climactic battle. Still, she continues living the life she loves, and a few like FAN.TASIA and Zanu are still able to keep her grounded when away from their own duties.
Andrea Jackson
Age: 38 / Race: Human / Gender: Female / D.o.B: July 7
Andrea Jackson is the co-host of the Milky Way grand Prix and right-hand woman of Mr. R. She fell in love with the anti-grav racing scene when she was young, admiring how passionate the fans and Mr. R were about the sport and the limits that racing put on the body, mind, and machine. While she wasn't able to make it as a racer herself, her knowledge of the scene and the vehicles caught the attention of Mr. R who took her under his wing. She's been doing this for 20 years at this point, and has no plans of stopping soon!
Golden
Age: Unknown / Race: Human / Gender: Male / D.o.B: December 31 / Machine: Rare
A secretive but wealthy entrepreneur who generally helps anyone that pays him the most. However, any client of his must prove their worth, skills, and resolve to enlist his help. A philanthropist at heart, he contributed greatly to Kel-Shabah’s economy and infrastructure and also helped fund Clea Runé’s rebuilding efforts after its destruction at the hands of the Interstellar Combat Sentinels. Golden can be seen going around to countless planets to learn about the native populations and customs. By joining the Milky Way Grand Prix, he wished to see cultures and the best individuals each planet had to offer. The motivations of the racers, the personalities that capture an audience… these are what interest Golden the most. However, despite his fame and fandom, none know his true name. As his home planet of Earth had only just recently embraced the freedom of the stars, the entire galaxy can be seen with fresh eyes.

Golden, aka Golden Iris, is the product of another time. A disciple of Green Iris, he too has undertaken special treatments to increase his lifespan and accomplish his mission: bringing the entire galaxy under the hand of order. Born too late to receive Naucrate's guidance, Golden seeks to create a new Naucrate using a backup of the original's memory and implanting it in Wródonis, the Overgrown's administrative AI, which contains traces of the once-great Icarus Encephalon. He had to wait until the time is right, after the AI had grown and learned about the galaxy at large and sought to be at the pinnacle; this would create a being with knowledge and power beyond Naucrate or the Icarus Encephalon of old.
Using a small mass-produced model of the Minos Generators, adapted from that of the Icarus Encephalon, Golden aims to implant these chips into every member of the populace on every planet if they wish to embrace the freedom of the stars. The protoplasmic fluid gathered by the Overgrown to craft an army of their former leader would give Golden an infinite supply of forces to ensure that the task its done. Everything and everyone can be monitored by his AI overseer, ensuring complete and total obedience to prosperity; Golden's plan would be the last sacrifice the galaxy ever sees. The combination of Naucrate's memory, preserved by the Union of Science and Stellar Concord, and Wródonis, a modern AI who is malleable enough to influence, would be the godlike force required for Golden's new galactic paradise... one with the compassion of the former, and the ambition of the latter.
Jaqueline Winter
Age: 27 / Race: Human / Gender: Female / D.o.B: November 12 / Machine: White Jewel

She even joined the Milky Way Grand Prix to monitor for illegal activity under the direction of the Stellar Concord. However, Jaqueline lets down her guard when interacting with the orphans of various species that the Stellar Concord takes in.

When analyzing the crime scene, Jaqueline Winter found them and took them in, repairing them for the Stellar Concord. They were eventually assigned to be partners, and V4L.1ANC3 intended to protect Jaqueline to repay a debt that could never be repaid.
