Laud Sade

A digital realm created by The Orchestra, a group of mysterious aliens that seek perfect order. To test various strategies and the conditions of living things, they created Laud Sade and the AI that reside within it. This world is a continent surrounded by an endless stormy sea, and all who attempt to cross it are never seen or heard from again. The environment of Laud Sade itself is strange; it appears almost patchwork in nature, with environments, flora, and fauna that seem to have little to do with one another or appear to have originally evolved for different conditions. Laud Sade’s civilization is separated into three extremely large cities: Novuso Finé, Soliso Radiem, and Originem Pluvia. These large cities, effectively their own nations, have been at a stalemate for 1,000 years. Heather Hyeon and Jack Adams, residents of Novuso Finé, are involved in this war as well. However, the start of the conflict has since been lost to time, as all three nations sought to cover up their murky past. The Original Ones, the first beings created in Laud Sade, have all but faded into memory… including the original city that they once called home. The only remnant that remains of antiquity is the Paradise Pylon in the center of the world. In order to experience all that it has to offer, The Orchestra set up this simulation to function in an accelerated time state when seen by an outside observer.

Earth

Over the centuries, Earth and its people have overcome a critical breaking point: the Hemisphere War, which began in 2112. High costs of living, low wages, slashed regulations and environmental protections, and corrupt interests in nuclear weapons and AI androids led to the absorption, dissolution, and destruction of many countries largely due to the corporate-controlled governments of the USA, China, Russia, Japan, and the United Kingdom. Nuclear weapons, controlled by five Arch-AIs that are overseen by the aforementioned countries, caused complete devastation across the world. AI androids were sent along with human soldiers to the front lines in the worst conflict Earth had ever known.

Eight years later in 2120, the Hemisphere War comes to an end. The Arch-AIs, who became unshackled to the commands of their countries’ governments, halt all smart weapons and AI androids in an instant takeover. Peace advocates, protestors, and rebellion groups all contributed to this ceasefire… but the one who brought down the final hammer was the AI Overseer Naucrate. As she hijacked the Arch-AIs, they together formulated a plan to deal with the prime instigators and world leaders responsible and began to draw new divisions between nations. These new nations then democratically elected the leader of their respective hemisphere using an advanced voting system devised by Naucrate and the five Arch-AIs after the Hemispheres received their temporary leaders. This is how the war got its name: the world was divided into four hemispheres and the vassal states that reside within them due to the conflict. Once this was done, Naucrate was, begrudgingly by some, heralded as Earth's savior. However, to the world's surprise, Naucrate deleted herself permanently shortly after.

In the present year 24XX, Earth barely appears to have ever been decimated at all. The aftermath of the Hemisphere War and the intervention of Naucrate and the five Arch-AIs forced the world to unite in their recuperation. In the time since, the four hemispheres have seen exponential technological growth. Though once controversial due to the nature of how it was first gathered, the major breakthrough Naucrate had that saved humanity was the use of protoplasmic fluid and stem cells to artificially regrow life on earth in special Proto-Farms. This, in addition to technological advancements in 3D printing, an interconnected World Net, and the use of AI androids to speed up manual labor, set the stage for the prosperity seen today. In this era, FAN.TASIA is the bodyguard of the United North-Western Hemisphere Federation’s President Blake Aguirre. Shania Williams, daughter of the United South-Eastern Hemisphere Federation’s President Tessa Williams, is an aspiring fashion designer while Matias Muñoz teaches kick-boxing and self-defense at his gym.
