THE MAIN CHARACTERS OF ICARUSCODE

Chosen ones don’t exist. Everyone plays their part.

Heather Hyeon

Age: 22 / Gender: Female / D.o.B: Unknown

A weaponsmith from Novuso Finé. After the deaths of her parents in a lab accident, she and her sister Yvonne Hyeon live on government assistance due to their parents’ contributions to the nation’s sciences. While her sister is a bright, up-and-coming mind in Novuso Finé’s infrastructure department, Heather is not quite as ambitious. They both share their parents’ love of technology, but Heather finds that weapon-making comes more naturally to her, an affinity that began due to her love of detective movies. She tends to spend her time tinkering alone, not ever going beyond the bare minimum for her contributions to the nation’s weapons department. However, one fateful day, her sister is kidnapped by a mysterious man. His final words to her before he disappears, the words that start her jouney, echo in her ears: “The freedom we deserve is given by the hand of Neo Genesis!”

Jack Adams

Age: 45 / Gender: Male / D.o.B: Unknown

A commanding officer in Novuso Finé’s military. Working under his longtime friend Thoxen Ortheo, the Aeon Minister of Humanity, he upholds the nation’s security and honor. His wife and daughter live on a small farm on a hill outside the city, a gift by the Aeon Ministry for his service. Jack is a special type of human known as a Vector, people who have elemental abilities. His flames have served him well on the battlefield and at home, helping to boost his reputation even further. Jack’s routine duties are broken one day however when he receives a special mission from the Aeon Guardian themself: he is to investigate the terrorist organization known as Neo Genesis and bring them to justice to secure the safety of the nation. In doing so, he crosses paths with a girl who is on the trail of the exact same target that he is…

FAN.TASIA

Age: Unknown / Gender: Android (Female-Presenting) / D.o.C: January 1

The bodyguard to President Blake Aguirre of the United North-Western Hemisphere Federation. While it is unknown exactly how long she’s been around, she was there throughout the Hemisphere War and still continues service to this day. AI androids have progressed very far within the last few centuries; current models are nigh-indistinguishable from their human coutnerparts. FAN.TASIA, however, has opted to hold onto her orignal, more primitive appearance from when she was created. Despite newer models displaying much more natural human characteristics, mannerisms, and emotions, FAN.TASIA remains fairly robotic in comparison. This is the case even after her processing chip was upgraded to that of the newer models; it has been concluded that she has simply retained her memories of her more primitive days and cannot shake the habit of her speech and thought processes. However, FAN.TASIA has shown to be understanding to some of the humor and mannerisms of humans, even if perhaps a bit unintentionally. Though she’d never show it or say it aloud, it is a point of pride to her that her creation was personally overseen by Naucrate herself.

Matias Muñoz

Age: 21 / Gender: Male / D.o.B: July 28

An underground kickboxer of Chilean heritage trying to make it big. Matias lost his corporate job due to disinterest and relies on his gym and state assistance to get by. Due to an illegal underground match against Carlos de la Rocha, his right arm needed to be severed and replaced by a prosthetic, as his body rejected an organic one grown in a Proto-Farm. His gym mostly teaches self-defense, though in secret it also trains Vectors on how to properly use and have control over their abilities, as they face discrimination in society at large. He himself is a Vector that has control over earth. Despite his rough and grounded appearance and demeanor, his boyfriend Benny Davis is anything but. Benny is a classical pianist who is planning a world tour, something that makes Matias both proud and a little envious.

Shania Williams

Age: 18 / Gender: Female / D.o.B: Febuary 14

The bubbly and outgoing daughter of United South-Eastern Hemisphere Federation president Tessa Williams. She recently just entered college for fashion design, something she’s been into since she was young. While many of her peers move on with the fads and trends of the time, Shania is more interested in pop idols and old Japanese culture despite being of African-Australian descent herself. It’s for this reason that, for self-defense, she keeps two katanas on her at all times despite this form of weaponry being fairly antiquated (plus, in her words, “they just look cool”). Shania’s status as the President’s daughter protects her from some discrimination that Vectors face, but her electrical abilities occassionally cause her more harm than good. However, her mother Tessa and her boyfriend Chris Wilson see it as just another facet of her charm.
